Volunteering Project

This exciting new project is funded to 31 March 2011.  Nottingham & District CAB will deliver a volunteer training programme to build capacity within the Nottingham advice sector. 

Volunteers will be recruited and trained and will work across the city in communities, and with people, most acutely affected by the recession.

  • Trainer/Supervisor (3 posts) - Volunteering Project - 37 hours per week (including regular evenings and Saturdays)

  • Administrative Worker - Volunteering Project - 37 hours per week (including regular evenings and Saturdays)
    Closing date:  Friday 19 February 2010

 

 

 

 

Trainer/Supervisor (3 posts)

37 hours per week (including regular evenings and Saturdays, as required)

Local Authority Scale SO1 £24,646 - £26,276

 

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Recent advice work experience (in particular debt, welfare benefits, housing and employment)

  • Training experience

  • Ability to support, supervise and motivate others

  • Excellent communication skills

Administrative Worker

37 hours per week (including regular evenings and Saturdays, as required)

Local Authority Scale 3 £15,725 - £16,830

 

You will be able to demonstrate:

  • Recent administrative experience

  • Excellent organisational skills

  • Accurate word processing and database skills
